As travelers passed through, we noticed something: they often saw the surface, but not the soul. So we decided to create something different — a platform built by locals, shaped by community, and driven by a deep desire to connect people to the real Karongi.
From quiet moments on Lake Kivu to the voices of elders sharing stories, from local meals served with pride to paths that lead to breathtaking views — this is our Karongi. And now, we invite the world to see it, feel it, and fall in love with it too.
